First off I want to thank Final Girls Berlin Film Festival for having me present at their “Brain Binge” event this past weekend. When I first covered the festival in 2021, it made me feel connected to a network of incredible horror filmmakers and fans, during a time when I was literally in isolation. Because of this, Final Girls has become my favorite festival. I love to cover it for Moviejawn and being a part of the festival with so many incredible people was a dream. If you missed it, my talk, and the others from this past weekend will be on the Final Girls Youtube page soon. However I wanted to offer everyone a list of the films, books, and other media I referenced during the presentation.
